Miriam - BSc (Hons) - General Manager & ProprietorCells

After graduating with a degree in Human Biology Miriam started working with Special Needs pupils (drawing on her university studies in Disability and Ageing) where she worked with pupils with learning and physical disabilities. She then moved on to work at a Children's Hospice for disabled and life-limited children. Her experience then led her to gain a position working setting up after-school clubs and carrying out accessibility audits for community halls . She later moved to work for the National Trust as an Education Officer working with school visits, looking at Sir Isaac Newton's work and his influence on Science today. Whilst working for the National Trust Miriam won the Sanford Award for Heritage Education. During her time there she also set up a farm visits program with a local modern farm and the National Trust Property at which she worked. This allowed pupils to compare and contrast 17th Century Farming with modern day farming. This lead her to recognise the shortage of quality education advice available to organisations across the country, many of whom are now looking to receive school visits and/or promote the educational merit of their products/services. Miriam is also CEVAS (Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme) accredited.

GearsLouise - BSc (Hons) QTS - Education Advisor

A qualified Technology Teacher, Louise spent time working as a Project Engineer after completing her studies in Industrial Design and Technology with Education at University. She is experienced in teaching Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils (aged 11-16 years) and after a successful period teaching Technology, she then gained a position as an Education Specialist working for an educational supplier. Whilst working as an Education Specialist she spent time dealing directly with teachers, designing and developing educational resource packs and products for Geography and History as well as sourcing new products for catalogues. Louise's invaluable design skills mean that we are able to offer in-house design for a variety of projects.

Christine - BA Cert Ed - Education AdvisorPainting.

Chris completed her studies in Art and Design with Education over 30 years ago, and is an experienced Primary School teacher, who has also worked running a WEA creche for preschool children, as well as producing illustrations for educational resource packs, both for educational suppliers and the National Trust. Chris' artistic talents mean that we always have an illustrator to hand for resource books and leaflets.
