Hollywood Bowl Teaching Resource pack is launched! Bentley IEA are delighted to announce the launch of a brand new cross-curricular teaching resource pack for Key Stage 2. The pack was written and designed by us, specially for Hollywood Bowl. The pack gives pupils the chance to look at the muscles that we use when we are bowling, to have fun with maths and to find out all about the importance of corporate image and branding when it comes to marketing Hollywood Bowl! Arriva Teaching Resource Pack Wins Award! A teachers' resource pack written and designed by Bentley Independent Education Advisors has won a prestigious award. The 'Getting to School' pack written for Arriva Bus, was put together to help teachers of Key Stage 2 look more closely at getting to school with their pupils. This fully National Curriculum linked pack provides pupils with the opportunity to examine responsible road use, learn how to use a bus timetable, look at the hazards that they might encounter on a journey to school and much more. Top prize was awarded to Arriva in the 'Road Safety in the Community' category at the Brake Fleet Forum Awards for Excellence 2008. Are you interested in getting involved in the development of education products? We currently have vacancies available on our focus group, for teachers from schools in England and Wales that would be interested in volunteering to pilot and/or review educational materials for Key Stages 1 & 2. We would particularly welcome teachers with an interest or specialism in Design and Technology, Science, Maths, Citizenship and PSHE. We are also looking to recruit teachers from schools in Scotland. Help for Schools in Complying with the Government's Extended Services AgendaThe Extended Services Agenda sets out a core offer of services that all children should be able to access through schools by 2010.
